it’s that kid in the 90s that has golden brown skin, playing outside with his friends. with a wardrobe that held time; high socks, little marigold yellow shorts and a maroon graphic t-shirt. in a setting like Bed-Stuy, where you feel like you’re in a movie. his glow is so magical and true, that you start to feel the moment instantly. you’ll find yourself knowing what it smelled like that day, and even how the sun would’ve felt on your skin. moments. real moments, that hold the times you remembered the quality of life; is what i try to bring out in my work.
